Boréal Carrières is the data controller for personal data collected through the platform borealjobs.com.

Boréal Jobs is a read-only job board. Visitors do not need to create an account to browse listings. No applications are processed directly on the platform: the "Apply" button redirects to the employer's external website.

Job listings are published and managed by the site administrator.

For visitors, we collect only:

• Navigation data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, session duration (via session cookies, necessary for operation).
• Contact messages — if you use our contact form, your name, email address and message are retained to process your request.

We collect no additional personal data. No visitor account is created. No application is stored on our servers.

The data collected is used to:

• Ensure the technical operation of the site.
• Respond to messages sent via the contact form.
• Improve our services through anonymised usage analysis.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

Processing is based on:

• Legitimate interest — for the technical operation of the site and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We never sell your personal data. Your navigation data may transit through our technical sub-processors:

• Vercel Inc. — site hosting (United States).
• Neon / PostgreSQL — database (secure cloud hosting).
• PostHog — anonymised audience measurement (European Union), only if you consent to analytics cookies.
• Sentry — technical error monitoring, to detect and fix bugs.

These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

• Navigation data — anonymised or deleted within 13 months.
• Contact messages — retained for the duration of processing your request, then deleted.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability regarding your data. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

• Essential — session management. Required for operation, cannot be refused.
• Preferences — language choice (FR/EN). Stored in a cookie in your browser.
• Analytics — anonymised audience measurement via PostHog. Enabled only with your consent.
• Error monitoring — Sentry records a replay of your session only when a technical error occurs, and only with your consent. Error detection itself remains active at all times, without a replay.

We apply industry-standard security measures: HTTPS encryption, restricted data access, administrator access logging.
